PEW-0511 is a kind of polyethylene wax.

Characteristic

• Excellent adhesion resistance, scratch resistance, dirt resistance, and so on.

• Good gloss, smooth soft-feel, and better hydrophobicity and sealing ability.

• Good hardness, and excellent abrasion resistance, with the good performances which the wax emulsion can not reach.

• Excellent dispersity and can get good matting effect at the same time.

• Good transparency in solvent-based systems.

• Good compatibility for fillers, pigments, metallic pigments, and has the effect of anti-sludging.

Application

Used for water-based and solvent-based systems, and is compatible with water-based and solvent-based ink, coatings and paints.

Addition & Method of Use

• In different systems, the additional amount of the wax powder is generally between 0.5 to 3%.

• Can be dispersed into ink and coatings by high speed stirring.

• Can be added by using variety of grinding machines, high-shear dispersing devices.

• Making wax slurry firstly, then add it into the systems when needed, by which will decrease the dispersion time.
