Aldehyde ketone resin has a wide application in ink industry. It has a good name of “universal resin” in plastic gravure printing ink. It is developed according to domestic plastic soft packing printing ink and cigarette case printing ink.

Features

Light color, transparent, non-toxic, non-saponified hardened resin, soluble in al coating solvents except aliphatic hydrocarbon and water, with good compatibility with most resins and plasticizers;

Significantly improves gloss, adhesion, fullness, and ageing resistance of products.

High softening point will has higher hardness, viscosity, water resistance, heat resistance, grinding resistance, and resistance to after-tack, dissolution and liberation velocity. Mainly applied in paints and coatings;

Application

Paint and coating: It is applicable for plastic toys, nitro varnish, paints for chlorinated rubber, amino baking varnish, polyurethane paint, and varnish paint for paper. The recommended proportion is generally 5-10% of solid content of entire paint.

Inks: It is applicable to various ink systems, including compound ink, surface printing ink, intglio printing and letterpress printing ink, bronzing ink, anti-counterfeiting ink, and ball pen ink, etc. The typical proportion is 3-15% to ink formula.

Other application: nitro cellulose, adhesive, lighting oil for cigarette pack, gloss oil for leather articles, cuticle cream and shoe polish, etc.
